Rascal Script is an exuberant broad-brush connected script. With wild calligraphic strokes and reckless speed, Rascal brings an irreverent voice to display settings. Rascal Script’s architecture is old-school – inspired by metal-type scripts, the construction uses an economy of forms. Instead of a huge suite of alternate characters, it evokes the rhythm of brush lettering using only three ligatures – fr, fs, and tt – and an alternate lowercase s. The typeface is available in one style and includes an extensive latin-alphabet character set.
